What is Women Talk... Little Girls Listen (WTLGL) ?
Women Talk... Little Girls Listen is a women's support group, that was once just a blog, but is now a growing organization. We work together to support women who have experienced rape, domestic violence or other hardships during their lifetime by educating them about how they can make a change in their world and in their own circumstances just by believing that they can. So far we provide one-on-one counseling, motivational speeches, techniques and seminars, 24 hour support and above all, we are giving back to the community. Women Talk... Little Girls Listen is a place where women gather to speak their mind freely, receive pure positivity and get in touch with their feminine side !
What Is Our Goal?
We believe that our children are our future. What better way to make a difference in the world then providing a stable foundation for our young girls to start off with? Our overall goal is to start an all girls program, ages 6 - 12, that will focus on increasing female adolescences' self esteem and using unique exercises and activities to trigger inner strength! In this establishment, we also plan to provide resources for the mothers as well, such as counseling sessions, weekly meetings capitalizing on child development as well as having a food bank available to families who are enrolled in the program, that are in need.
